Domenico Paladino, better known as Mimmo (Paduli, December 18, 1948) is an Italian artist and painter.
is one of the main members of the Trans, the movement founded by Achille Bonito Oliva in 1980 will provide a return to painting, after the various conceptual currents in the seventies.
His works are on permanent display in some of the major international museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
He held his first solo show in Caserta in 1969. In 1978 in New York where he exhibited in the following year at the Marian Goodman Gallery and the Gallery Annina Nosei.

In 1980 he participated in his first Venice Biennale, invited by Achille Bonito Oliva in the Open 80, along with Sandro Chia, Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi and Nicola De Maria. In 1980 he was selected by the National Art Library Bolaffi (No. 15) together with Giulio Paolini, Valerio Adami, Lucio Bulgarelli, Gianfranco Goberti and Cassano.
In 1985, the Monaco of Bavaria Lenbachhaus organized his first retrospective in a public space. In 1988 he was invited with a solo show at the Venice Biennale. In 1990

In 1999 the South London Gallery is organizing a large exhibition in which it is exposed, the Roundhouse in the grand cycle of sleeping, in the same year the Royal Academy in London award him the title of Honorary Member.
In 2006 he designed and produced the film Quijote, which was attended among others Peppe Servillo (Avion Travel), Lucio Dalla, Alexander Berger, Enzo Cucchi.Inoltre was the author of a redevelopment of the Piazza dei Guidi in Vinci (FI) , thus interpreting in his own way his unique style.
In 2008 he was assigned to Fighter's controversial construction of 4 sheets to cover the scaffolding for the restoration of the bell tower of the Cathedral of Modena said Ghirlandina. The work will be visible for the duration of the work should be completed in 2010.

In 2009 a group of his sculptures is exposed, "en plein air, in Orta San Giulio, Lake Orta, in an exhibition curated by Flavio Arensi; among the various works a horse float to the shore in front of Villa Bossi , the town hall. The book (& Allemandi C., texts and Flavio Arensi Goffedo Fofi) related to the exhibition contains 48 original and previously unpublished photos of Gianni Berengo Gardin, the famous photographer has made a series of portraits Paladino and his works located in Orta San Giulio. One of sculure "fell to the right" is located on the island of San Giulio with the help of a helicopter.
