The Lions Club International Valdichiana Chiari I, chaired by Giuliano Lenni, played a summer dedicated service to the Planetarium Poliziano, a reality in expansion and only in southern Tuscany. The group of Lions, family and friends gathered in the beautiful scenery of the Cloister of St. Agnes, open for the special occasion of the parish priest Father Mark Baron. After dinner in the Cloister guests went to the Planetarium, where they attended a show surprising and interesting. The theme of the evening was "Destination Mars," with a detailed description of the red planet and its morphological characteristics, with the display of images nothing short of special. then the focus has shifted "over the skies of the Chiana Valley," where, with a powerful telescope, the lucky ones present were able to scan the sky for a night clear and cool. to midnight every home, conscious of having experienced a unique and enjoyable.
